About this event

Participate with top-level executives from global food companies, industry and regulatory peers, and current Online Masters of Science in Food Safety (MSFS) graduate students at the on-campus Creating a Food Safety Culture Executive Education.

The program includes two and a half days of sessions facilitated by Frank Yiannas, Food Safety Expert and Adjunct Faculty in the Online MSFS Program at MSU. The program also includes a dynamic lecture by guest speaker William "Bill" Marler, Managing Partner, Marler Clark LLP PS.

Registration Cost Information:

Executive Education Cost $3,300

Non-Profit/Alumni Cost $2,300 (Must work for a non-profit organization or be an Alumni of the MSU Online Food Safety Program to receive this rate)


Registration Includes:

Overnight accommodations (the nights of June 10, 11, and 12 only) and some meals are included in the registration cost.

  • Tuesday, June 10 (early evening start time): Class starts! Dinner will be provided.
  • Wednesday, June 11: All day session with Frank Yiannas (lunch included). Evening presentation by guest lecturer Bill Marler J.D., dinner/tour of the internationally renowned Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum.
  • Thursday, June 12: All day session with Frank Yiannas (lunch included). Evening dinner/entertainment at Spartan Stadium.

Cancellation Fee:

Cancellations occurring before May 23, 2025 will result in a $100 cancellation fee. The cancellations fee will be deducted from the registration cost, and the remaining amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

Cancellations occurring after May 23rd, including no-shows, will result in the forfeiture of the entire registration cost, and no reimbursement will be issued. If you have any questions regarding the registration process please contact Esther Haviland at estherh@msu.edu or 517.884.2078.
